Hi, first of all, congratulations. I love this fantastic plugin!

I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong or if this is a bug, but when I update a post from published to draft, all cache is cleared. These are the plugin settings:

Preload: Create the cache of all the site automatically (checked)
New Post: Clear cache files when a post or page is published (unchecked)
Update Post: Clear cache files when a post or page is updated (checked)
Option: Clear cache of post (not clear all cache)

The steps to reproduce the bug:
    1. I have a published custom post (CPT created with Pods)
    2. The cache file is successfully created
    3. I change the status of the post from published to draft and I click on Update
    4. After doing this, all cache is cleared, not only the cache file of this post

When I publish a post directly or when I update the post status from draft to published, the pluguin works as expected and the cache files aren’t cleared, just the cache of the updated/published post is cleared.

Please, let me know if the bug is on my side due to any compatibility issue or if the problem is related to the plugin. Thank you very much!

    thank you so much.

Actually it is an expected result. if we do not clear all cache, the post continues to appear.

    Ah, ok, I understand.

Anyway, the issue is that when you update a post from published to draft, all cache files are cleared, and it would be useful to be able to decide if you want all files cleared or just the files of the post and its related pages (homepage, categories, tags, homepage). I mean it would be good to be able to set the behavior the same way the Update Post setting works.

    Thank you so much!

you are right but the recent posts may be visible on the sidebar so if we do not clear all cache, it causes some trouble. I added this feature because I have received many tickets regarding this issue.

    Ok, fine. No problem.
I’ll change the way I manage my posts if I want to keep the cache files on every update.
Thank you very much for your assistance.
