Reusable blocks want to save changes

    Hello.

    I have posted this in the general area too, as I am not 100% this is generateblocks related.
    I have made a reusable block and when I add it to a page it works fine. When I later want to edit that page, the Update button activates as I load the page in the editor and the dot that indicates that a reusable block has changed is displayed. Somehow the block has changed on load.
    Is there any code in the generateblocks that can be triggered? I use the generateblocks buttons and containers for this reusable block.

    Hi there,

    I can’t think of anything in GB that would be doing this.

    Can you try testing by adding two new reusable blocks? One using the core Buttons blocks and one using our Buttons blocks. Are they both doing the same thing?

    Hello.

    Sorry for the late turnaround here. I made a reusable block with the default block editor buttons and they do not behave the same way. I have however made another reusable block with the generateblocks buttons, and the same happens to this.

    I tried to export the block as json, then save it when the editor asked me to and re-export it. Nothing changed in the two json files.

    The block was originally used in a custom post type, but it happens on pages also. I also have polylang installed and use the generatepress + pro theme.

    I am thinking more and more that it is something with the buttons blocks, but not sure where the problem is.

    We’ve found the bug and fixed it for our next feature released: https://github.com/tomusborne/generateblocks/pull/229

    1.5.0 should be available for public testing near the end of March.
