    How can I disable automatic system update notifications? I want to use only the custom translations but the system ones take precedence over my custom translations.

    What do you mean by “notifications”? Automatic system updates are part of WordPress. Loco Translate doesn’t control them?

    I want to use only the custom translations but the system ones take precedence over my custom translations.

    Loco Translate’s file loading filter ensures your custom translations are used, but this survives on things being done correctly beyond its control – see FAQ: Why don’t translations load from the custom folder?
