We need the ability to upload .eps, .svg and .ai files via forms on our WordPress site; as clients have to provide us with their logos in professional print quality.

We have the plugin ‘File Upload Types’ (from WPForms) installed to allow those MIME types and have also allowed them in our wp-config file.

However when your ‘Media Library Assistant’ plugin is enabled, it prevents those file types from being uploaded. If I disable MLA it all works fine. Are you able to issue an update to resolved this conflict?

Thanks for your report. You can enable uploading of these types by following the steps in this earlier topic:

    Cannot upload SVG files

That topic also has some notes about an old WordPress issue with SVG support that may be obsolete.

You can follow the steps for all three of the file types you mentioned. You can also avoid the problem by disabling MLA’s support; uncheck the “Enable Upload MIME Type Support” box in the upper left portion of the Settings screen. I think you will find MLA’s support will meet your needs and avoid the need to use the “File Upload Types” plugin.

I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if you have any problems or further questions regarding the above suggestions. If MLA’s support lacks a feature you need, let me know and I will consider it for a future MLA version. Thanks for your interest in MLA.
