Column hide => different column color

    I have a very specific question.
    We have a very large table that we also want to show in some places on the website with a few columns less. We know we can do that with hide_columns=”6,7″ for example.
    The problem now is that by hiding these columns, columns 8 and 9 get the colors that columns 6 and 7 had. And of course we don’t want that because the colors have a meaning in the table. Is there a shortcode to set the color of a column instead of css?

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    I see what you mean. In this case, you’d need to hide the columns in a different way, namely with CSS code like

    .page-id-1666 .tablepress-id-6 .column-6,
.page-id-1666 .tablepress-id-6 .column-7 {
  display: none;
}

    Here, 1666 is the WordPress page ID for this page, so that this change only applies on that page.

    Thanks for your reply! In the meantime I found a similar solution by addressing specific pages in css. But instead of hiding the columns in css, I did use your shortcode and adjusted the colors per column in css.
