I found this under a help menu “WordPress is producing valid XHTML 1.0 which means that inserting multiple line breaks (BR tags) after a paragraph would not produce white space on the web page. The BR tags will be removed as invalid by the internal HTML correcting functions.” Which ironically enough doesn’t help at all, because even though it explains my problem, it doesn’t give any solution as how to produce white space on the page?

It might help if you explained what the image issue actually is. It’s probably better handled through CSS.

The image problem really just examplifies the problem. The problem is that I have made a homepage for some people that don’t now anything about html and they just want an easy way to insert whitespace on the page. Like you usually do with the enter button, but that doesn’t seem to work in wordpress?

You could try 2 line breaks, a single space then 2 more line breaks (in other words, a paragraph containing a single space).

The problem was that WordPress didn’t save my line breaks but I found a plugin that fixes that “ps-disable-auto-formatting”
