[Plugin: MailChimp List Subscribe Form] Formatting Enhancements

    I have a couple of suggestions for the MailChimp plugin that would help me a lot in formatting the form for a current client. I’ve already made these changes in the code, but that means I won’t be able to upgrade without re-making them, so including them in the next version would be great.

    The first is easy: wrap the required-field asterisk in a span. A client wants that required element highlighted in red and a span would allow that customization.

    The second is to include the option of uploading an image to use as a graphical submit button. Right now I’ve just hard coded the required image into the plugin, but that’s just a temporary hack.

    The required field asterisk is now wrapper in a span tag with a class of “mc_required”.

    There are no plans at this time to build the image upload feature you’ve mentioned. As far as I know, though, you should be able to add your own css to style the button using an image.
