Hi,
thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
In past, I have seen this error when the “Enable jQuery Migrate Helper” plugin was activate and used to load an old version of the jQuery JS library on the site.
Is this plugin active on your site?
Note, that the “Enable jQuery Migrate Helper” plugin should not be left activated in a production site, but should only be used to uncover and then fix jQuery issues in other plugins or the theme.
Therefore, my recommendation would be to fix all uncovered issues and then turn the plugin off. That way, you would be using the latest version of jQuery as it’s shipped with WordPress.

Hi @tobiasbg
You’re right.
Enable jQuery Migrate Helper is active and current jQuery Version is Legacy 1.12.4-wp.
Since I switched to Default from WordPress the error disappeared.
Theme is outdated and many things as menus, for instance, do not work with last version of jQuery.
There is a new website that we suppose to be published soon, meanwhile we will have to keep a legacy version.
And if we need to edit some table we will have to switch jQuery version to the newest and then switch it back.
Many thanks for your help!
Regards,
Jairo

P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
Yes, sure!
I will rate it.
Hi,
thanks, I really appreciate it! 🙂
Best wishes,
