Export Problem – 0 Byte XML File. WTH?!?!? HELP!!!

I am trying to export my WordPress blog. This should be simple but I’ve spent the last two hours on it and there seems to be a prolbme with the function on my site. Here is the problem.

When I go to export the blog:

Tools –> Export —> Click “Download Export File”

It creates a file that is 0 bytes in size. There is no data on it even though I have 180 posts on the site! When I got to import that to my other WordPress blog nothing happens (obviously). Both are in version 2.9.2.

I’ve checked the export function on my other WordPress blog it works fine so I am SUPER confused and extremely frustrated about this one. Does anyone have any ideas why it’s not working and any advice on things to check/how to fix this problem?
