Issue with Rankmath GTIN

    If I use rank math and enter GTIN details then the whole product page crashes and I can’t seem to add it. I tried disabling all the other plugins and only keeping rank math and WC Field Factory and found out that the plugin clashes with Rank Math.

    This keeps happening when you try to add GTIN number. The auto scroll and then The page needs to be refreshed.

    Please look into it. We are using your plugin on our website envi.in and it causes a lot of issues to add GTIN details.

    Hi,

    I tried to replicate your issue on my local machine, I installed Rank Math - 1.0.80 but GTIN option is for PRO version only, I think. so I couldn’t test it fully.

    If it is possible please provide another video capturing with your browser’s console window opened, that way we can identify any JS exception is happening or not.

    Also try to look into your apache error.log file, there we may get a hint, whats causing the issue.

    Looked at the error log aswell. No error regarding your plugin. This is the log for yesterday.

    Also try CTX Feed plugin. We use that plugin aswell to add custom data to the product Schema

    I tested with both, Rankmath(free version) & CTX Feed, couldn’t replicate the issue you are experiencing.

    My guess is, both CTX Feed & Rankmath share some features, like GTIN and other product meta configurations.

    So both plugin has some overlapping functionality which might cause the issue.
    Please disable GTIN custom field on CTX setting page, then try again.

    If nothing happens, disable all plugins except WC & Rankmath and see if the issue still exist.

    I tested in troubleshoot mode with only WC and rank math and that is how I came to know about the bug.

    I can give you access to the staging environment so you can test it live. Please tell me how can I share the details.

    You have one required admin field, without giving any value for that field and attempting to save the product will fail, as the validation is failed.

    No issue with the plugin, except no validation message is shown, which will be updated in the upcoming releases.

    When can I expect the release? Currently, I have to use troubleshoot mode in order to add GTIN field for the products.

    Also what is that required field?

    go to wp-admin/ there Fields Factory -> Admin Fields -> Your admin fields group

    There click on the field that you need to disable required property.
    In the config view you will see option called “Required” for disabling it click on “No” option and then update.
