Receiving a message from google crawl – 500 errors

    Google is notifying me that my site has two issues, both related to files in pdfembedder, throwing 500 errors. The plugin seems to be working fine in terms of displaying pdf files on the site.

    the two files are:
    /wp/wp-content/plugins/PDFEmbedder-premium/core/commercial_pdf_embedder.php
    /wp/wp-content/plugins/PDFEmbedder-premium/mobile_pdf_embedder.php

    While checking the error logs related to those two folders I see the following message:
    Call to undefined function plugin_dir_path()
