Emails Not sending from online form

Hi, I have tried everything I know, including getting support from Hostgator several times. The issue is when I use any online form in my wordpress site with any form plugin, the email sends but get stuck in my WHM server. If the email sending to is hosted by my server, it will send with no problem. But if the email is being sent to yahoo, gmail, outlook, etc, it will get stuck and not send out of my WHM server. I’m using wp forms lite currently, and have disabled all other plugins. I do notice the recipient below has the username of the cpanel within the email address, which does not look right. Not sure if this is causing the issue or not, but I do not know how to remove it. Has anyone experience this before? I would appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks

This is not a WordPress problem, unless you are modifying the email headers in your form.
Otherwise, you need to validate your email using spf and dmarc.

Hi, thank you for the reply. I have not modified the headers in my form, not even sure how. No matter what plugin I uses, the email will stay in queue in my WHM. Some how it looks like when the form is sent, it is adding an additional email/name to the email address. Also I notice the > symbol at beginning, which not sure how this is happening. I’m thinking it should be only one email address in the recipient address field. It was working several months ago, but recently stop. I have not made any changes to my client’s site in past year. Any idea? thanks

Hi – I would still add the spf records to your domain:

I would also go through one or a combination of these :

– switch the delivery method to SMTP:
https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/

– add a Mail Logging plugin see you can ensure they are being sent, and read the header in the emails:

– test out a different WordPress contact form solution:

– check your 365 tenent for anything on their end:
