Internal Server Error after changing Permalinks structure

    Hi there,

    i just changed the permalink structure in the wp-admin from default to custom using /%postname%.
    I did not change something in the .htaccess file. Nor did I do anything else.
    After clicking on save, the Internal Server Error came up. I can’t access any page. Neither blog nor admin-pages.

    I deleted the .htaccess-file, I changed the file permissions to 777. I deleted in the wp_options database the entry “/%postname%” in the permalink_structure entry. But I still get the damn Internal Server Error. And I really don’t know what else to do. I don’t want to reinstall!

    Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    have you resolved this problem yet? because I have.
    I checked at my server error log. it showed that I had to activate the rewritemodule. after that my web is going fine.
