Is website loading time okay?

    Hi all I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask this question but I wanted to find out if my site was loading okay because for me it takes a little bit for it to fully load. I’m using a MacBook Pro and have FF + Safari installed on it, but when I type my url into the bar and hit enter it seems to load slow – not sure if its an issue on my computers end but I thought I would ask – I deleted any plugins that weren’t being used and installed one of the WP-Cache plugins forget which one at the moment but everything seems to be set up and running correctly.

    My link his link Is there something that I need to do to enhance the speed or maybe its all fine and its just me.

    Your site loaded fine for me, but I’m on a ridiculously fast connection. If you run your site through this analyzer, you’ll notice that the total size of your site is almost 1MB, which is rather large for a blog and will certainly contribute to slow loading.

    Hi macmanx thanks for the reply any suggestion as to what I should do to get the size down?

    Loads fine here with IE7 and a normal cable connection at work.
    You use a lot of images and videos, those use a lost more space than text.
