Missing database table wp_wc_rate_limits

Hi,

I get a error saying the database table wp_wc_rate_limits is missing after updating to Woocommerce 6.0. Can I add this table manually in any way? Unfortunately I can´t seem to find any documentation on this table anywhere.

Hi,

I tried to verify the database but an error message saying: Checking database… One or more tables are still missing: wp_wc_rate_limits.
This is translated from swedish so it may not be the exact sentence in english.
Do you have any suggestions on what I can do now?

Hello,

Be sure your site is using a default theme, then disable all plugins except for WooCommerce, after that, go to WooCommerce > Status > Tools, do a click on Update database, then please check if that table is created.

Hi @drmacs,

Thank you for the update.

Let’s first make a full backup of your live site and database. If something goes wrong it’s nice to know that you can restore your site to the previous state.

Then, you can quickly set up a staging site using the WP Staging plugin.

Once you’re in your staging site, to delete the WooCommerce tables from the database entirely, follow the instructions at Uninstalling WooCommerce. Right after, install WooCommerce on your staging site and check again if the wp_wc_rate_limits table was created.

If it’s all good you can recreate the same table in the old database or ask your host to help you if you think it might be too complicated. Be sure to save one or more backups before, and take into account that customizations done directly on the core files (which is not a good practice) will be lost when removing or updating WooCommerce.
