• I have disabled the header on many pages that are using woocommerce for my webshop.

On a laptop, these pages show a menu specifically designed for my webshop. On mobile, there’s no menu shown.

    Example: https://www.benlinders.com/downloads/

How can I display a mobile menu on this page without enabling the header?

  • Hello,

Unfortunately, the mobile menu will be only visible when the main menu is selected and the main menu is visible in the header.

But there is a way, you can create a custom template for the top bar menu using the navigation widget. Please go to Dashboard > theme Panel > My Library, here create a template and add the navbar widget, now go to Appearance > Customize > Topbar > Content, and select the created template from here.

Another way is to enable the header and hide that using the CSS code for the desktop view and keep them visible for mobile view.

Please try and let us know if you are facing any issues with it.

    Happy new year.🥂

    Hi Abhishek,

    Thanks for your prompt reply.

The Nav menu widget is pro content, I’m using the basic Ocean WP version so this doesn’t work for me.

I enabled the header on the webshop/woocommerce pages, but removed all elements like logo, search form, and social buttons using the customizer. That basically gives the same effect of having the header disabled on a laptop (no header is shown), while the menu from the header is visible on mobile.

To keep the search functionality that was in the header, I added a search widget box.

The company logo which leads back to the homepage is no longer visible. I added the home page as a first menu entry so that people can navigate there.

I have no alternative for the social buttons from the header yet. I might add them somewhere in my footer widgets.

    Hello,

Navigation is not a premium widget, please check in the snapshot and use this widget.

Sorry but not getting the header there, seems you have disabled that again. Kindly enable it again so, I’ll try to find a code for you.

Previously logo is in the header section? can you please re-add the logo and check?

And you can also add the social icons in the top bar or the template that you will create for the top bar. Please let us know where exactly you want to show the social icons.?

    Hi Abhishek,

I’ve decided that, to make fewer distractions, that I don’t want to have the header bar on laptops/browsers. I did not disable it, I simply deselected all elements and then it seems to disappear completely. Works for me.

Because it is not disabled, the menu shows up on mobile sites. What I have understood, the header bar must be enabled to have a mobile menu, right?

I would like to add my site logo to the Top Bar or Title Bar, is that possible?

I did add some social icons in the top bar so that seems to work too. Thanks for pointing this out.
