  • XAMPP runs on your local computer.

cPanel (and anything installed in cPanel) is on your hosting provider’s server somewhere on the internet.

The two WordPress installations are not connected in any way.

Even though you’ll open both of them in the browser to work on the site, they’re not going to conflict in any way — as they have no point of contact.

And you don’t need to open a new email account: your existing email account should work with the WordPress you install via cPanel (even if you used the same email address in the XAMPP/WordPress installation).

If you don’t want to run WordPress (or any other web-based app) directly from your local computer again, you’d want to delete XAMPP (and anything installed by it)… but this is only a house-keeping measure to rid your computer of software you don’t need. Leaving them will have no impact on your cPanel WordPress site.

    Good luck!

Oh okay. Thanks for your response.
So I would let my installed WordPress ?
And my website that I used to open it with localhost is it gone ?
And my databases if I forget them how can I get them again ?
And cpanel I would use it online not downloading it like xampp right ?

I hope you answer me so for not doing any problems again.
