414 Request-URI Too Long

    Hello,
    I’m using Deduper in order to delete a huge number of duplicated items (111365 items).

    I’m trying to bulk “Smart Delete” them, so I’ve set the items per page WP option to 999, bulk-selected all the items in page and tried to delete all items.

    At that point I get the following error:

    Request-URI Too Long
    The requested URL’s length exceeds the capacity limit for this server.

    The total number of characters for that URI is 18.163

    Is there a workaround to delete all those duplicates in few steps?

    Hi Antonio! Thank you for contacting us. Our first recommendation is to try using smaller batches and see if those perform better. If you reduce your total selection from 999 to 500, for example, that may run more easily. Alternatively, our Pro version (https://www.mediadeduper.com/compare/) includes Smart Bulk Delete features that will help you run Smart Delete across all duplicates at once.
