    Love your Plug-in first of all but I have a small problem with it which maybe you have a solution for? I am running the plugin in the sidebar of a site having two languages, powered by Translatepress. The star rating works flawlessly in English but when I switch to Swedish the star rating of the individuals dissapear and is being replaced by question marks. The overall star rating works.
    Disabling translation of the element have no impact on the error.
    Any idea what can be done?

    @tordan Sorry, I cannot see any trace of the plugin in this website. Is this installed and running here?

    If you want to more complete control over the output, please use the Shortcode instead rather than the Widget. This will give you many more options and allow you to set your own words for the business name, “x reviews”, “… more” among other things.

    The HTML star entity should remain untouched for all languages because it is a symbol and the same across all languages. There may be something else that is interfering with this symbol, but I haven’t seen this anywhere before (except the odd Samsung/Android star design, but that isn’t related).

    Sorry for wasting your time…I should not have registered the landing page as the reference as that does not have a sidebar. This page would be more appropriate.

    I have used the following short code in the sidebar
    [reviews_rating summary=”rating, stars” animate=”yes” review_item_order=”inline” limit=5]

    What does not make any sense to me is that the overall rating score/star is working but not the individual scorings when I switch language, which seems kind of strange as both are originating from the same short code.
    You have any idea what could cause only the individual scores to fail?

    @tordan Thanks for clarifying.

    I have checked this page and the issue is related to the translation service or plugin attempting to translate the ★★★★★ into something else (i.e. ?????). You can see this in the source code. The top, overall rating is using SVG images – so it will be unaffected by any text translation service.

    I would recommend opening a support query with the related service you’re using to resolve this issue.

    Additionally, please try the “narrow” theme for the narrow sidebar there – this will help fit some of the elements a little better in the space.

    @tordan You did it!

    It looks better with the narrow theme and the stars appearing for the translated version.

    Did you find the problem with the translation service?
