Uploading a custom image with a specific size

    I am trying to figure out how to setup a workflow for uploading images to a Custom Post Type.

    Where I am at now
    A custom-image-size has been succesfully set-up. With wp.media the image can be uploaded from the media-library.

    What I want to do as well
    Wordpress resizes these images with some default operations now. I want users to select/crop the image when they upload it using my preset aspect-ratio for the crop tool ( the aspect ratio is that of the custom-image-size ).

    Any ideas on how to roughly create this?
