I have installed the plugin on our staging site and followed all steps for various payment methods, but only the Credit Card method is displaying when I have Apple Pay and Venmo as well.

For example, Apple Pay. I followed every step on this page:

    https://docs.paymentplugins.com/wc-braintree/config/#/braintree_applepay?id=testing-apple-pay

The certificate is in our Braintree account, the .well-known file is uploaded, and everything looks 100% good to go on the Braintree side AND in the plugin. The payment method is enabled, however it’s not showing up on the checkout page.

Likewise, Venmo is enabled in our Braintree control panel, and in the plugin, but that isn’t showing up either.

I’ve even tried enabling Apply Pay on product pages and the cart, but it is not appearing anywhere.

    What is the issue here?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @aaversa,

    The issues are:

    1. Venmo is a mobile payment method so it will only show on devices that have Venmo installed. You can’t use Venmo using a laptop or desktop. Venmo shows for me on your checkout page when testing with a mobile device.

    2. Apple isn’t showing because the error message Apple Pay is not enabled for this merchant is present on your checkout page. Make sure you enabled Apple Pay in the Braintree control panel for the corresponding environment that you have enabled in the plugin settings. It looks like you have Sandbox mode enabled so you will need to setup Apple Pay in your Braintree Sandbox account. Setting up Apple Pay for production is a little easier to test because you don’t have to create an iTunes test account.

OK, I switched to Production since I have the Apple ID/certificate information all set up on BrainTree’s side for that. It’s still not showing…

To be clear, Apply Pay (in the Braintree PRODUCTION environment) is toggled ON. The Apple Merchant Certificate is set with an expiration of 12/30/2022. And for web domains we have our live site and staging, staging-impactsoundworks.kinsta.cloud

On the plugin side, I have “Accept Apple Pay” enabled

I just checked your site and Apple Pay is showing and the Apple Pay wallet opens as expected. I can send a screenshot if necessary.

Make sure you have a valid credit card saved in your iOS device’s Apple Wallet.

Ah OK, I didn’t realize that Venmo only worked on mobile and Apple Pay only worked on iOS devices. Thanks.

Out of curiosity, are there any plans to support Samsung pay?

Samsung Pay is only available using the Android SDK and integrates with an Android App. It is not meant for Web App purchases like GPay or Apple Pay.

    Kind Regards,
