Adding a cutom field to dp_attachment_image

I’m using the following code to pull images from my posts to display as thumbs on the home page:

		foreach($images as $image) {
			$attachment=wp_get_attachment_image_src($image->ID, $size);

		}
}

Is there any way of adding a custom field to this function so I can specify which image is displayed?
