    Hi,

I have come across a very annoying issue.
I created a yearly subscription 2 years ago, initial price was 218,90€ excl VAT / 262,68€ incl VAT.
I changed the price of the subscription 1 year ago, from 218,90€ to 251,90€. When you change the price of a subscription on Woocommerce, the subscriptions created on the initial price run on the initial price (this is expected behavior).

Now, a renewal order processed for a client, he was charged the initial price, but the problem is on the invoice of the renewal order :
The incl. VAT price is correct (262,68€) BUT the excl VAT price is the new price (251,90€). I have then a discrepancy between what was charged to the customer (218,90€) and what was invoiced (251,90€).

Any idea how I can solve this ? I am having the problem on all the subscriptions that have had a price change, so this is global and with a big impact on our billing operations.

    Thanks for your help.

    Regards.

    Alain

    Hello Alain,
Our plugin merely takes the data from the order, so if these prices are showing in the invoice it either means you are either using a custom template (consult the person that created the template) or the data in the renewal order is wrong too.

Are you using the official “Simple” template? If so, could you provide us with a screenshot of the prices you are referring to in the PDF?
Additionally, could you provide a screenshot of the prices of the same order in the WooCommerce backend (showing the totals)?

If you need somewhere to upload the images you could use imgbb.comm or imgur.com.

    Hi Ewout,

Thanks for the quick reply ! The solution was in the custom template indeed.

    Cheers.
