@qnkov There is no backup of orginal images, it directly compresses the image and keeps it in uploads folder.

So it just replace the original image with the newer one, does not make copy or something.
Then what’s this – https://prnt.sc/21kkg02

@qnkov I’ve checked this with our development team the original image should be stored in the same location under uploads folder.

@bornforphp, does the delete all Backup images now button works? Because i’ve used it, but i’ve got right away message that they are deleted, but my hosting didn’t lose any Inodes. So i wonder if there is possibility the original images which are 1000+ to be still there.
@qnkov You can check the uploads for original images, and check if the original images are still there.

Once i upload image and Mark as already compressed, i’m getting this error near the image
Warning: Illegal string offset ‘smushed-size’ in …. wp-content/plugins/wp-optimize/includes/class-updraft-smush-manager.php on line 130
The file was compressed to N/A using WP-Optimize
I belive it won’t be compressed , but still what’s that error for, how to fix it.

@qnkov Sorry for the delay!
From the screenshot it looks like the image is compressed.

Auto-compress does not work anymore. Any reason for that?
