Hey @webdados,
Whilst it’s not really possible to run both UA- and GA4 code on the same website Google does have a way of connecting a UA- account to a GA4 account.
This was answered by a colleague of mine in this thread below:
Hey,
That’s basically what I did and used the UA on your plugin configuration.
Thanks.
Hey @webdados,
I’m glad that worked for you.
Please let us know if you need anything else.
Kind regards.
Well, it didn’t because I’ve Linked the Universal TAG to the G4 tag (actually it happened automatically because I chose to create both on setup) and, on your plugin, I’ve used the UA tag and I’m getting the stats there, but I’m getting nothing on the G4 property.
Hi @webdados,
Sorry for the delay on this.
Is it not possible to use both versions at the same time on the same website?
It’s not possible to run both UA and GA4 code on the same website by default. The feature suggested above is not something for can help troubleshoot.
As stated in the linked topic:
I’d note that this Google Analytics feature should possibly still be considered BETA. As it’s a feature of the Google website itself it’s also not something we could offer assistance or support with.
Thanks!
