Backup from server or from WordPress dashboard

    Hello,

    I need to restore a previous version of my website.
    My domain host also have a backup which seems heavier.

    This is not a critic, it just that I don’t know anything about backup but is it not better to restore my website from my domain host if files are heavier ? Or what is the difference ?

    Hi,

    UpdraftPlus only backups your WordPress website or all files within the “wp-content” only which compose the database, themes, plugins, uploads and others.

    Your domain backup may contain all files within your server.
