    Hi everyone,

I am currently setting up a shop for a delicatessen and I have the following problem: The customer should be able to freely configure the quantity when he is on a product page. This means that he should be able to choose in Quantity Steps (50gramm per step) whether he would like to book 100 grams, 150 grams, 200 grams or even more. How can I implement this in the shop?

I have already found a plugin where I can set up the quantity steps and a minimum amount, but then I have to set the price to 0,279 cent because the product is added to the shopping cart for example 100 (=100 Gramm = 2,79€) times. So the gram price has to be inserted, which looks stupid on the shop overview page. Does one of you have an idea? I would be very happy about help. VG Ben

You can set this up as a variable product using this guide: https://woocommerce.com/document/variable-product/

    Hi Oyadeyi,

but I have 100 products in total and the customer should choose his quantity manually. So is there a possibility that the customer enters his quantity and woocommerce calculates the price automatically?

So when the price is 2,79€ for 100 gramm and the customer types in 400 gramm then WooCommerce should calculate the total price and should return 11,16€.

    Thanks for your Support :-).

    Greetings

    Hi VG Ben!

I found a plugin that could be useful to your case: the Measurement Price Calculator. With this plugin, you sell products based on the price by unit measurement and price changes according to the customer’s choice.

You can check more about it here: https://woocommerce.com/products/measurement-price-calculator.

If you have any pre-sales questions about that plugin, you can ask them here: https://woocommerce.com/contact-us/.

Please select the option I have a question about a specific extension or theme I’d like to purchase, and we will be happy to assist you there.

    Cheers!

    Hi Juan,

    thanks for your response.

But when I use this Plugin i need to add a price per gramm and then it says 0,03€ on the shop page. Does it?

    Hi @webbonn

Have you checked this tutorial about the settings and sample configurations?

You should also check the demo settings suggested.

If the way you want the price to be entered is not supported by this extension then you can go for a custom coded one. For assistance with customization or development with your site, we recommend reaching out to someone on our customizations page.
