    Hello.

I can’t find the answer to the problem myself, need your help.
I want to add some AdSense In-Feed ads to my blog. There are four feeds in one row on the blog page. Google offers the ad style — the ad size the same as the feed. But when I add the ad to the website it is the full page width.
How could I make the ad size the same as the feed size? Could please advise?

    Regards
    Andy

  • Hi Andy,

    Thanks for reaching out.

I found this statement from Google:

In-feed ads are responsive ads which means they automatically adjust their size for the device they’re being viewed on. The width of an In-feed ad is always equal to the width of the feed container it’s inside. (Note that the minimum width for an In-feed ad is 250px.) The height of an In-feed ad is automatically adjusted by AdSense to ensure that all of the ad’s elements fit well in the available space.

So if you want the ads to appear alongside your blog posts, you would need to alter the theme’s content container CSS and how the posts get displayed itself.

You can try using Advanced Ads options to add a custom width to your In-Feed-placement using the inline CSS option on the placement settings. Please see this tutorial for reference. Together with the ad layout options, it should be possible to place the ads as requested with only a few CSS adjustments.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

    Best regards,
    Henning
