wpDiscuz has a built-in Google reCAPTCHA. Have you configured and enabled it?
Also, it works well with the Akismet.
Akismet would be an extra $10+ a month for me as I have ads. There are a number of free anti-spam plugins, I believe the biggest one is Antispam Bee. Does it work with wpDiscuz?
Yes, I have reCAPTCHA, that’s not the issue.
Currently, wpDiscuz supports the Akismet plugin. Besides, wpDiscuz includes free reCAPTCHA v2.

Why do you keep pushing reCAPTCHA v2 on me? I told you already I have that set up and that’s not the problem or the solution as reCAPTCHA v2 is child’s play for bots to break.

100,000 installs so should be fairly decent/legit.
The Antispam Bee said theirs isn’t compatible because:
“wpDiscuz is replacing the default comment form and is therefore not compatible with our approach of applying a honeypot to the form.”
