Hello, I’m getting this error when I try to pay in Sandbox mode:
[INVALID_REQUEST] Request is not well-formed, syntactically incorrect, or violates schema. https://developer.paypal.com/docs/api/orders/v2/#error-INVALID_STRING_LENGTH

I connected my account with the “connect to Paypal” button instead of manually entering the info and tried again several times. Each time I click the Paypal payment button in my ‘checkout’ page to make a purchase, the error message comes up.

I also noticed that if I only add 1 product (digital download) to my cart it seems to work fine, but if I add more than 1, I get the error message.

Can you help with this please? Thanks!

    Hello @thinkyouknowtrivia

thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.
This is a tricky one, we have seen it before, but I am doubtful if it is caused by the same reason. The other case we have where we get this error is being caused by utilizing an emoji in the product description.
So what I should ask here, if 1 product works, when you add more than 1, do you add the same product or another product? Can you see if the issue occurs if you add 2 of the same products?

I expect we will need to get your system report and logs in order to identify the issue and take a closer look into this. You can copy the logfiles from here:
    – WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support
    – WooCommerce > Status > Logs > select “woocommerce-paypal-payments-integration-\[…\]” in the dropdown and click on view.

If you don’t feel comfortable sharing those details on a public forum, please open a ticket with our service desk. You can find the instruction for this here: https://paypal.inpsyde.com/docs/request-support/
(please add the URL of this thread in the ticket as well)

Let me know how you want to continue.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

Hi Joost, thanks for your response!

Sorry it took me so long to reply. First off, I eventually uninstalled the plugin before you replied, then reinstalled it after a few days. Then on checking my product descriptions, I found only one emoji, which I deleted. After that everything worked fine in sandbox mode, but I haven’t tested it in live mode as yet. So, I will update when I do that, as long as this thread is still open.
