Thanks for trying the WordPress Editorial Calendar. What browser are you using? Are you seeing an errors in the error console of your browser?
Sorry for the delay – I was expecting an email notice of replies 🙂
This seems to be happening in all browsers (Mac OSX 10.5 & 10.6), but throwing no error code. The UI shows up just fine, just no posts.
**edit**
As I was writing this, I realized I had another calendar plugin active (to display a Google calendar). Disabling the google plugin seems to have worked. However, this brings up another question…
When I see the entries in the back end, the ‘View’ button for articles that are created from a feed goes to the original article, not the local post. Is this expected behaviour? Is there any way to change this, or should I leave it alone?
Thanks very much for responding!
What was the other plugin you disabled to make the WordPress Editorial Calendar work? I’ve seen a few JavaScript conflicts with other plugins, but I thought I had tracked them all down.
I’m not sure what you mean about the ‘View’ button and the original article. Could you give me a few more details? Maybe the steps you followed to see the problem?
Thanks,
Zack
Here’s the plugin I had to disable (Google Calendar Widget):

On the view issue: when I open up the calendar view in the Admin back end, I can see the articles listed on the appropriate days. There is a ‘View’ button, and when I click it, it takes me to the originating post. So, if I’ve pulled that article in from another site, the View button takes me to that article on the other site. However, the actual post is on my blog as an entry (that is, I pull in a post from elsewhere, the post is editable on my site, but the header link from View goes to the original).
Does that help?
That does help. Thank you very much.
I’ll try that other plugin and see if I can track down the issue. As for the view issue, does the calendar work the same as the view item for posts in the WordPress edit posts page?
Thanks,
Zack
Duh… not sure how I managed to miss that connection, but yes: the feed posts go back to the original.
Sorry =)
No problem at all. I’m glad we figured it out.
