Add a Blank Page Template

Hi! I need to create a blank page (no header, footer, sidebar), so that I can create a sales page – without the distractions of the other stuff.

I create the page: http://soulpurposetoprosperity.com/telesummit/

I created a page template that only has this code:

<?php /* Template Name: salespage
*/ ?>

When I apply it to the page, NOTHING, including the content on the page shows up.

Am I missing some code to tell it to get the content? That seems like it should be automatic?
