3.0 Stability

    I am curious if anyone can speak to the stability of the latest beta of 3.0.

    I am new to WordPress and will be installing for the first time in production here this week.

    Would anyone consider 3.0 stable enough to run in production so that I can avoid installing 2.x with MU plug-in and then having to upgrade later on when 3.0 is fully release?

    I don’t want to jump the gun on 3.0, but I also don’t want to add more work of converting or upgrading from 2.x series to 3.x series.

    3.0 is pretty stable, but the ‘classic’ warning is to be careful in using an unreleased product on a production site. With that said, I believe quite a few people use 3.0 on live sites.

    Make sure you do the backups!
