is it really spam?

hi,

i use akismet and it seems to do a good job.

however, i have gotten a few comments that appear to be genuine but because of the authors link i wonder.

the specificall the comments i am second guessing are “Great information! I’ve been looking for something like this for a while now. Thanks!”

and “Thanks for sharing this.”

they were flagged as spam by akismet but i allowed them because the seem authentic and genuine with no links in the body of the comment.

now (perhaps out of paranoia) i am beginning to second guess my decision because of the authors web sites (black hat seo and educational grant finder).

please advise.
