Hi,
the plugin itself shouldn’t upgrade or downgrade itself without user’s action.
so far I only encounter 2 cases
provider mass enable/disable the cache plugin , this could lead to version change , depends on their admin setting
for this case, try create an empty file in your wordpress dir with name .litespeed_flag , this should tell server cache manager to leave this site alone
another case was some kind of backup/restore plugin that leads to such case
we have approximately 172 websites hosted and only 5 of them are doing this
is there anything common between these 5 sites ? and anything different than other 167 sites ?
and also please provide one or two reports numbers from these 5 sites , you can get it in toolbox -> report -> click “send to LiteSpeed”
Best regards,
Hello, Thank you! that file seems to have solved it I tested on a few sites and they did not downgrade. The thing is the sites are all on the same WHM. What exactly do I need to tell the hosting provider? I have already opened a number of tickets with them.
Thank you.

Hello, Yes I just created an empty file in the WordPress Directory 😀

Hi,
good to know
you can kindly ask your provider , go to
WHM LiteSpeed plugin -> Manage Cache Installations
then flag all your domains , like this

Best regards,
