Transparent background not available with Modal widget

Hi, I’m trying to achieve transparent background with the Premium Addons Modal widget. I set the Modal Box > Content Background Color to transparent but the background still appears white. I refreshed and cleared the cache, viewed in preview mode, but the resulting modal box appears with solid white background. Is transparency possible with this particular widget?
