    Hi there,

Been using Hummingbird for a few days and it’s mostly working now.

However I’ve spotted that some of its own files are now deemed “render-blocking”, especially CSS

    hummingbird-assets/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.css

I can’t use your page/html caching tool for various reasons (conflicts with CDN and others), but I am using your compression.

What can I do to fix this issue please?
    Thanks!

    FJ

    Hi @martin-oxby

I hope you are doing well.

Sorry for the delay here, it seems we didn’t receive the notification about this question.

By default in the Automatic mode the plugin won’t modify the flow of CSS and JS, so to remove the render blocking you can switch to manual mode and move the CSS and JS files to the footer following this guide: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/hummingbird/#asset-optimization

Now, the hummingbird-assets/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.css is a combined version, you can click to open the reported file on the browser and on the top of the file you will find the real filename on the handle comment area.

Sorry, I had meant to simply say “thank you” and “I’ll look into that then!”.

I never mean to open a ticket and ignore the reply, so apologies.

    Thank you!
