Recent Comments permissions

I have setup the Social Access Control plugin that is part of the Social Privacy set of plugins, found here: http://multinc.com/social-privacy to assist in creating a way for certain users to have specific access categories and the posts contained in those categories.
That appears to be functioning correctly for the most part except for one issue. Both anonymous and logged in users are still able to see the Recent Comments titles and posters even though they are unable to access the post itself.
Recent Posts and Categories are both functioning correctly and only displaying the posts and categories available to that given user. I have thoroughly gone through the Social Privacy plugin but maybe I have overlooked something in this plugin being able to solve this issue.
Can anyone provide information or a resource on how I might be able to solve this issue? Your help is greatly appreciated.
