Hello Julia,
if you can use phpMyAdmin, and if the two sites are identicals (the posts and pages has the same post IDs), you can just export the table _yasr_log from the old site to the new one.

Hi Dario, thank you so much for your reply and for creating such a nice plugin, the posts don’t have the same IDs… is there any easy way I can do it manually? I’m not a techie or code expert so perhaps is better I don’t do it to not mess up… cheers.

The only work around you can do this is importing the table _yasr_log from the old site to the new one, and then pass the postid parameter to the shortcode, e.g.
[yasr_visitor_votes postid=”YOUROLDPOSTIDHERE”]
