WooCommerce sending duplicate orders to our courier

This is weird and a huge problem. About 60% of all orders created in WooCommerce are sending duplicate shipping requests to our courier. As a result most of our orders have 2 delivery waybills at our courier (which they obviously want to charge us for and since we’re doing 100 orders per day, these duplicate waybills are a financial problem, not just an irritation)

The waybill order is generated upon the displying of the “Thank you for your purchase” page after being redirected back to the site after payment.

Is it possible that this page is refreshing and pushing out 2 commands to our courier?
