I am not sure where to ask but I have an issue with my search bar. Our product has a copyright/trademark sign, such as “Cyclease® Menopause”. If we put “Cyclease® Menopause”, the search bar works fine, otherwise missing the ® symbol results in an error. Is there any way to search for a product without ® symbol working? Thanks

  • Hi @tphamdev12,

You might want to take a look at some of the search plugins for WordPress like SearchWP. WordPress’s built-in search is rather limited and these other plugins change how it works under the hood. They might be a good fit for your site.

Hi @3sonsdevelopment, we already have the “Woocommerce product search” plugin in our site. The search bar works fine but looks like we need it will work even without the trademark/symbol @. Thanks!

Since this issue was addressed in our live chat (the search bar triggers a regular WordPress search, and not a WooCommerce product search), I’ll be closing this thread for now.
