• Hi!, My question is about the type of filter with the random option in which each time the page is reloaded or the cache is cleared it generates a different list.
For SEO reasons I think it is not a good practice to give different lists but I am not interested in putting on all pages the same list so the options I see apart from the random filter does not convince me.
Is there any way to make the list appear randomly but remain static?
Any configuration or type of filter that I would miss?
Thank you very much to the team and support for your attention.

    Best regards

    Hello,
    Thank you for contacting us.

What do you mean to make the list appear randomly but remain static?

I mean that every time you reload the page, no new results appear.

The good thing about the random filter is that it allows all the results to appear, something very good for indexing but as every time you reload the page it launches new results I see a drawback for google to end up crawling and understanding those related posts.

The problem of launching results with other filters is that they do turn out to be static but they are all repeated equally so if I have a list of 300 pages that are related to each other, the same results would always come out.

That’s why I was asking if there is a way to relate the content in the random way but not modify when you refresh the page or clear the cache.

    Thank you very much

    Thank you for your reply.

As I understand, you want to random images from a fixed/predetermined list.

If so, you can filter the list with (one or multiple of) these filters: category, tag, author, custom field, date, so on.
Then use the random sort to show results from the above list.

Thank you very much for your response.

With this way the clusters would remain fixed, that is, even if they are random they would not be modified when refreshing the page?

Best regards and thank you very much

That is true only if you show all filtered results in one page without pagination.
When enabling pagination, results on the page 1 will be modified with the random sort.
    Best regards,
