First, hello to everyone! I love using WordPress as development platform for my site. The problem i have is a rather strange one. Recently i downloaded the free theme called ”BrightSky” from KreativeThemes.com. I’ve tested it on localhost, and on the main site and everything worked fine. However when I tested it on my blog, the comment form box was missing. Other themes on the blog don’t have this problem except for few. Comment box is working on the site and on the localhost with this theme. I believe that the issue could be with the comments.php not being loaded when the theme is activated. Hope to see some answers that could help me get it fixed and other people with similar problem.

Both site and blog are on the same server. This issue is really weird, i just can’t figure it out.

Just a few questions to clarify:

    1. Does this issue occur in the Default theme too?

    2. Does disabling all plugins resolve the issue?

    3. Can you provide a link to your blog for further investigation?

    1. No it works on default theme.
    2. Nope. Also i checked the Akismet and it isn’t the problem.
    3. http://blog.zeusoft.net (Note the current theme that I’m using has the comment form working. If you visit the main site http://www.zeusoft.net you’ll see theme that i tried to use on blog, but where the comment form doesn’t work for some strange reason. I’ve tested comments on the main site and it worked.)
Plugins that i use on the blog: All in One SEO Pack, Clean Options, Core Control, FeedBurner FeedSmith, Google XML Sitemaps, HTML Emails, W3 Total Cache,iRobots.txt SEO, JavaScript to Footer, No Self Pings, Page Links To
Robots Meta, SexyBookmarks,Shockingly Simple Favicon, Simple Facebook Share Button, Smart Youtube, Testimonials Manager, TweetMeme Retweet Button, Twitter Widget Pro, WordPress Database Backup, WP-Optimize, WP-Polls.

That is weird. I downloaded a copy of BrightSky and I don’t see anything wrong with the files. Try uploading a second, fresh copy of the theme alongside the old one. To do this, rename the theme’s folder to something like “brightsky2”, open the style.css file in a plain text editor and change the Theme Name to something like “BrightSky 2”. Then, upload and activate the theme.

This will hopefully tell us if the problem is related to any changes that you have made to the theme.
