Email Alerts on Post Submissions

I’m using Ultimate Member to run a free, private community site. USP allows them to make structured posts with a simple form, love it!

I’d like to offer the option for members to get email notifications when others post on the site, so they can log back in to take a look. [For various reasons, a fully public site with all posts visible is not acceptable.]

Does the free version support such a feature? Have not found any evidence so far. Or does the PRO version offer this capability? [Ideally a ‘follow’ option to be alerted to posts from all or just a selection of members].
