Does the plug-in do any kind of check for the presence of sidebars/widgets before attempting to do anything?

Or does it just automatically presume either is being used?

After activation, I immediately get a “critical error on this website” error page for any page I try.

I will note the theme being used has neither, so failing to check first for their existence might be the cause of this hard error???

Can the plug-in work without widgets? I just want a simple shortcode on the blog page itself to switch languages and don’t need widgets otherwise.

    What theme are you using?

Alex – Thanks for quick reply.

It is a custom theme that was built without widgets/sidebar. (Realize you can’t troubleshoot it… just looking for general suggestions here.)

Tried registering a sidebar/wdiget, as that seemed like an obvious test, but still the blog pages deliver “There has been a critical error on this website.”

Are there other requirements WPGlobus might have I should be aware of?

I really like the program, and am willing to spend a bit of time troubleshooting to get it to work.

I’m not sure that the problem is related to missing sidebar/widgets.
