Dashboard not loading properly: (RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: Connec

    For the past two days now, my dashboard has been loading really slowly, and the following errors keep coming up under the different links categories, WP news, etc. “RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: Connection time-out”. I’ve never had this problem before, and I did not make any new changes and there have been no new plugin updates.

    I did deactivate all of my plugins which did not do anything, so I turned them back on. Has anyone else had to deal with this problem? If so, what do I need to do to get the connection errors to go away? Is there something going down with wordpress in general that may be doing this, a new update maybe?

    I need help ASAP, it’s affecting my ability to run my site effectivel as I post 5 times a day.

    Any advice would be much appreciated!
