No notifications for pending posts

    Hello
    All notifications (new posts, modifications, etc…) works fine in my site.

    But the notifications for pending posts (article, page, etc…) if their author is not an admin don’t generate emails.

    Is it a problem of permissions ? the user can’t generate these notifications ?
    Do you have another experience ?

    Can you help me ? Thanks a lot.

    Hi @duburov,
    Thanks for your message.

    I haven’t had any reports of issues with that. It shouldn’t matter if a user is an admin or not as the notification is generated irrespective of permissions.
    Have you tested a default Post Pending Review notification with a non-admin user to see if it works?

    Hi,
    Sorry, i try with another user with role “administrator”. It doesn’t works.
    in fact, the pending notifications works only with my account.
    If i deactivate your plugin, wordpress has’nt a default system notifications. How can i test that ?

    Hi @duburov,
    Are you using the ‘Send Me a Test Email’ button or is this when triggering a real notification when a post is set as pending?
