Condition on sign up

Good day! I was curious if there’s a way to add a condition to the user registration form that prevents outsiders from registering on my website. For example, in order for users to be able to complete the sign up form, they would need to enter a code (Ex. 65ahJan1) into a textfield. And if they enter any other code, it will be invalid and they won’t be able to register on my website.

I’m currently developing a school website and my goal is to let only teachers and students from that school sign up.

I should also mention that i only need a way to create one global code for everyone. It doesn’t have to be an individual code because that is too complicated. Thank you again!

Hey,

I would create a text field where to enter the general code. Then I would set the visibitly to hidden for all other files if the code in the text field is not your global code.

I tried your method and it works! however at the password section, when i hid it, the “confirm passwod” textbox is still visible meanwhile the main password is already hidden. Why is this?

You can use the Visibility rules as @felix997 pointed, you can find more on https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#forminator-fields scroll down to the Conditional section.
