We are using Metaslider since several years for our site (https://best-wine-in-box.com) and everything was OK until the last days.
The 2 issues are the following ones (certainly related one to the other …) :
    – On the wp-admin page of the ml-slider plugin we have systematicaly a popup (bottom left of the screen) with the message “Internal Server Error (500) OK”.
    – Most of our slideshows have disappear from this admin page (remain only 2 of them and 13 have disappeared), but the related slideshow are always available/visible on the site whatever the location or the browser are). They are not available on the admin (backoffice) page of the ml-slider plugin but they are still available on the pages of the site … but it is no more possible to modify/update them since they are not available on admin side.
We are using the last version of the plugin : 3.23.0
It is the same (latest versions) for other plugins, for theme and WP.
Here is a sumup of our config :

  • Hi,

This is more likely a JS error which is a cause from a plugin conflict.

You can check and see if there are errors in your dev tools.

    • Open the DevTools

Press Command+Option+J (Mac) or Control+Shift+J (Windows, Linux, Chrome OS) to jump straight into the Console panel of Chrome DevTools.

Or, navigate to More Tools > Developer Tools from Chrome menu, and click Console tab.

    • Identify the Error

The error console will open. If you don’t see any errors try reloading the page. The error may be generated when the page loads.

The console will provide you with the error type, the location of the error and the line number

    Hi Arreane(@yanex),

Thank you very much for your response.
FYI, the problem has been solved by increasing the memory limit (from default value of 64M to 256M) as explained here.
After that everything is OK :
    – No more “Internal Server Error (500) OK”.
    – No more “ghosts slideshows” : all the slideshows are available as well from the MetaSlider backoffice (from wp-admin) as from the site.

    Best regards.

    Hi,

Glad you were able to sort it out. Thank you for providing update.

I will be closing the ticket now.

    Kind regards,
    Arrene
