When and where does this error occur?

one place is the “page options” under “write page” in admin section…

also, I know this is off topic, but how do you get your personalheader.jpg to appear… I uploaded it to correct directory but no go… thanks

also in “presentation” in admin section

Did you recently upgrade? If so, did you make sure to run .../wp-admin/upgrade.php?

Another thing I would try is to upload the .../wp-includes/functions.php file again.

I’ll try it… but as this was a brand spankin new install I didn’t figure this would be the problem

I have two installs WP (latest build) – hosted and local.
The hosted WP works perfectly – php, mysql, & apache
The local WP – php, mysql, & IIS does have its quirks.

My local install is for testing and I am currently working on a theme – I noticed that if I download a theme and install it, I get this exact error message going to Manage > Presentation.

    Maybe permissions?? Thanks!
